Facebook and Skype are working on a deal that would integrate Facebook Connect with Skype accounts. Once you connect Skype with Facebook, you’ll be able to SMS, chat with or call your Facebook friends directly from Skype. You should also be able to log in to Skype with your Facebook credentials.

It’s not a complete integration, but it will make it easier to connect to your friends with Skype. Sounds cool, but I also know theres some people i’m Facebook friends with that I definitely don’t want to video chat with. This is a good move for both Skype and Facebook. This allows Skype to access Facebook’s 500 million users. Facebook is expanding the was their uses can communicate. This also allows them to compete with Google Voice.
It is not clear how Facebook or Skype will change their mobile interfaces to involve this service.
