LeBron James introduces the new Nike+ Basketball gear which are equipped with sensors that interact with the Nike+ iPhone App. Nike+ Basketball captures data on every movement you make, including: vertical leap, quickness, and overall distance – among other statistics.
The first shoe to release this summer is Nike’s Lunar Hyperdunk+, which releases on June 29th. This is the first basketball shoe to incorporate the Nike+ interactive tracking sensors. Data collected is sent directly to the user’s phone, displaying a wide variety of performance metrics. Ballers can also share their highlight statistics on social media to compete with other Nike+ Basketball users.
